2yo ANTONIA DE VEGA takes G3 Prestige Stakes

After her convincing debut win four weeks ago, ANTONIA DE VEGA by LOPE DE VEGA took on eight talentend two-year-old fillies in the GBP50,000 G3 Ladbroke Prestige Stakes today. And just like in her first career outing, opponents on this performance level were no match for her devastating turn of foot. The filly trained by Ralph Beckett for Waverley Racing was settled into midfield by jockey Harry Bentley, and did not even look compelling at first in the final stretch until she seemed to find a higher gear. Within a few jumps, Antonia de Vega decided the race in the last furlong and even scored by one and a half lenghts after 1400 m.
