FOUR WHITE SOCKS scores in G3 Lavarack Stakes

FOUR WHITE SOCKS capped off a very successful day for sire LOPE DE VEGA, who had six winners in two days, four of which today. In Great Britain, the impressive win of two-year-old MAX VEGA at Pontefract was framed by two handicap winners while the G3 Lavarack Stakes at Gowran Park, Ireland drew most of the attention. Today's outing in the 1900 m challenge for fillies and mares was the first one for FOUR WHITE SOCKS for her new connections around trainer Joseph Tuite and owner Mrs. Hillen. Declan McDonogh gave the four-year-old filly a perfect trip mid field from where she took off like a steam train. With two furlongs to go, she came flying down the final stretch effortlessly put five lengths between herself and the rest of the pack.
