PROGRAM TRADING gives sire LOPE DE VEGA Gr.1 win in Saratoga Derby

Three-year-old LOPE DE VEGA son PROGRAM TRADING added his name to his sire's list of Gr.1 winners yesterday when he won the $600,000 Saratoga Derby Invitational Stakes at Saratoga. Trained by Chad Brown for Klaravich Stables, the colt showed incredible fighting spirit under Flavien Prat as he jumped to the front in the final turn, appeared beaten two furlongs out, and showed heart and incredible resilience in the last furlong to pass the post with a head advantage after 1,900 metres. Thus, the Irish-bred PROGRAM TRADING remains unbeaten after the third time out and clearly gives hope for more.
