PLACE DU CARROUSEL gives LOPE DE VEGA stakes win in Gr.2 Prix Foy

Four-year-old PLACE DU CARROUSEL delivered once again a strong performance in today's Prix Foy at Paris-Longchamp. The LOPE DE VEGA daughter, trained by Andre Fabre, ran a great race in the €130,000 Gr.2 contest and extended her impressive record to five wins in nine starts. Ridden by Mickael Barzalona, PLACE DU CARROUSEL showed great form over 2,400 metres, winning safely by a neck with a strong late run in the final fight where she relegated two Gr.1 winners to the places.
